by SIACharts.com

Datadog has broken above prior resistance at $288.69, alongside a 367-position rise over the past month in the SIA S&P 500 Index Report. The shares now rank 23, up 13 positions over the quarter, with an SIA SMAX Score of 8/10. The much larger monthly ranking improvement highlights the strength of the recent relative advance.

The latest Point & Figure signal is a Spread Double Top. Following the resistance break, the next resistance levels extrapolate at $325.11 and $351.91. On the downside, 3-box reversal support is at $266.70, followed by $241.56.

The Computer Software sector has also strengthened, rising 20 positions over the past quarter to rank 5 out of 31 in the SIA Sector Report. Its Favored classification provides a positive sector backdrop to Datadog’s improving relative position.

Datadog has outperformed the iShares Core S&P 500 ETF Fund (IVV) across all three reported periods. The shares gained 29.87% monthly, 11.55% quarterly and 111.26% year to date, compared with benchmark advances of 2.06%, 3.38% and 15.38%, respectively. The resistance break, improving report position and benchmark outperformance present a consistent picture of technical strength, to be weighed within the broader context of portfolio construction and risk.

Datadog provides an observability and security platform that brings together visibility across applications, infrastructure, data, models and security. Its platform uses AI to help businesses detect and resolve issues and manage complex technology environments.
