After a 578% Gain, SanDisk Faces a Technical Test

by SIACharts.com

SanDisk Corporation (NASDAQ: SNDK) holds an SIA SMAX score of 8/10 and ranks 44th out of 503 constituents in the Favored Green Zone of the SIA S&P 500 Index Report. The shares have climbed 22 positions over the past month and 287 positions over the past quarter. Sector context remains supportive from a relative-strength perspective, with Computer Hardware ranked first out of 31 sectors in the Favored Green Zone of the SIA Sector Report.

These ranking gains contrast with weaker absolute returns over the shorter periods. SanDisk has declined 7.40% over the past month and 6.82% over the past quarter, compared with a 2.81% decline and a 0.30% gain, respectively, for the S&P 500 Index Fund. Year to date, however, SanDisk has gained 578.01%, versus 12.38% for the benchmark. The distinction between improving report placement and recent benchmark underperformance is relevant when assessing the shares across different time horizons.

On the Point and Figure chart, the most recent signal is a High Pole Warning. Identified near-term support is extrapolated at $1,550.01, followed by $1,349.38. Initial resistance is identified at the 3-box reversal level of $1,745.57, with potential resistance above at $1,927.25. Further resistance corresponds to the all-time high of $2,349.30.

SanDisk is a Milpitas, California-based NAND flash memory and storage company, spun off from Western Digital in 2025. It provides storage solutions for data centre, edge, and consumer markets, with substantially all flash chips produced through its joint-venture manufacturing framework with Kioxia in Japan.

The combination of an 8/10 SIA SMAX score, a 44th-place ranking in the Favored Green Zone, and a 287-position advance over the past quarter provides a technical framework through which investment professionals can assess the shares alongside their own investment objectives, risk parameters, and portfolio-management processes.
