Non-adjusted general business conditions in New York State reporting weakest close to the year since 2008.

Technical action by S&P 500 stocks to 10:00 AM: Quietly bullish. Breakouts: $K, $AMGN, $WM, $FSLR. No breakdowns.

Editor’s Note: Most of the technical action occurred just before and after 2:00 PM when the 0.25% increase in the Fed Fund rate was announced. Another 19 stocks broke resistance and 3 stocks broke support. Notable on the list of stocks breaking resistance were 6 utility stocks.

Notable among S&P 500 stocks breaking resistance was $AMGN, extending an intermediate uptrend.
