Events in Ukraine continue to impact precious metal prices, particularly Palladium. Russia is the largest producer of Palladium. Palladium closed at a three year high.

Concerns about hotter and dryer than average weather in U.S. winter wheat growing areas continue to add to an improving technical picture for grain prices.

Technical Action by Individual Equities Yesterday

Technical action by S&P 500 stocks was mixed yesterday. Seven S&P 500 stocks broke support in early trading (M, NWL, URBN, CAG, TSN, JPM, DVA) and seven stocks broke resistance in the afternoon (SYY, AVB, BF.B, WLP, LMT, PCP, MSI).

No significant breakout or breakdowns were recorded by TSX 60 stocks.
