Observations

Short term momentum indicators for a variety of equity markets and economic sensitive sectors showed signs of rolling over from overbought levels yesterday. Typical of seasonal trends at this time of year beginning on average on July 17^th!

The Biotech sector continues moving higher during its period of seasonal strength to mid-September (BBH, IBB, FBT).

Stocktwits Released Yesterday

VIX falls below 12, suggesting caution is warranted.

Editor’s Note: Yesterday, it spiked 8.24 to 12.74%.

Technical action by S&P 500 stocks to Noon: Bullish. Breakouts: $HAR, $JCI, $LUK, $HCA, $MNK, $FLR, $CNP, $ADS. Breakdown: $TSCO.

Editor’s Note: After Noon, Cigna broke intermediate resistance and Range Resources broke intermediate support.
