Rough day for equity markets around the world yesterday.

· The NASDAQ Composite is testing its 200 day moving average, a level that the bulls say must hold.

· Ditto for the Russell 2000 Index!

· Ditto for the TSX Composite Index!

· Equity markets outside of North America are testing/ breaking key support levels.

Precious metals and precious metal equities and ETFs were notably weaker. ‘Tis the season!

The energy sector also was notably weaker. ‘Tis the season!

Energy equities are responding to a breakdown by crude oil. ‘Tis the season!

The Transportation sector is responding to lower crude oil prices. ‘Tis the season!

And another pleasant surprise! The Semiconductor sector is showing early signs of bottoming. ‘Tis the season!
