Technical action by S&P 500 stocks to 10:00 AM: Bearish. Breakdowns: $GRMN, $GT, $NWL, $BHI, $NBR, $CBG, $MRK, $VRTX, $XRAY, $AAPL No breakouts.
Editor’s Note: After 10:00 AM, another 19 S&P 500 stocks broke intermediate support levels.
Prominent on the list of stocks breaking support this morning was Apple on a break below $111.00.
This morning the Dow Jones Industrial Average broke support at 17,210.43. Its related ETF $DIA also broke support.
TSX Composite Index broke below its August 24th low at 12,705.17 to reach a two year low.
