Dreams and Goals

By Adrienne Toghraie, Trader’s Success Coach

www.TradingOnTarget.com

In the hubbub of life sometimes we forget what motivated us to get up in the morning when we were passionate about life. Have you let that passion deteriorate to the point of waking up just because it is a new day and you have to keep up your responsibilities?

In every motivational seminar the trainer at some point brings up the importance of goals towards attaining success. I am sure that most of you at one time or even many times in your life have put words to paper describing what you wanted your goals to be. And very often you have achieved those goals forgetting the process that got you there. I would like to encourage all of you to take some time to revisit or create new goals.

Let’s look at what makes goals towards your dreams work:

1. We first have a vision or dream about what we want to accomplish

2. Our senses when detailed on our desires create emotions

3. These emotions create passion

4. The passion is what motivates us into action

5. The dream, the action, plus the intention assist us in getting to the goal

6. The goal then has to be maintained with review and new actions for each new level of accomplishing the goal

Vision of becoming a Master Trader

In the beginning there is something or someone who inspires you to want to be a trader. You start to think about becoming a trader with all of its benefits:

1. Working for yourself

2. Making your own choices

3. Scheduling your own time

4. The sky is the limit on your potential

5. Working with a computer

6. Taking vacations when you choose

7. Making the kind of money that will give you security, toys, vacations, retirement

Then you start to make your dream and goal into a reality:

1. You create pictures in your mind and plan those dreams out on paper

2. You develop and create the resources necessary for your business

3. You write down specific actions towards your goals and the time frame that you intend to make it happen

4. You share your dream with significant people in your life who will support you and get excited because they see you excited

5. You keep dreaming the dream in detail of how you see yourself when you finally accomplish your goal and what is beyond

6. You state to yourself and put it out to universal consciousness your goal for the highest good for all concerned – A goal such as:

I am in the process of becoming a Master Trader

and intend the highest good for all concerned.

7. When you achieve your goal, then you start goal setting and dreaming at your new level of accomplishment

Conclusion

Dreaming and goal setting are at the core of all great achievements. You are the only one who will make it happen. Take a step and follow it by another step and enjoy the process of achieving your dreams and goals.
