Gold bullion once again is testing overhead resistance near
US$1,335 per ounce. Strength relative to the S&P 500 Index
has turned mildly positive.
Nice break out by the Gold Bug Index! Strength relative to Gold
remains positive.
Ditto for the TSX Gold Index!
Technical Action by Individual
Equities
Technical action by S&P 500 stocks was quietly bullish
yesterday. Seven stocks broke resistance (Reynolds America,
Zion Bancorp, Nordstrom, CarMax, O’Reilly, Procter & Gamble
and Varian Medical) and three stocks broke support (Prologis,
Deere and Assurant).
Among TSX 60 stocks, TransCanada broke to an all-time high.
