Paul Kovarsky, Director, CFA Institute joins us to share his perspective on how advisors are ramping up their qualifications and adopting the CFA charter in their practice, graduating to the role of fiduciary.
"The CFA charter is a signalling mechanism. It signals immediately to your clients that you've invested in your own education. You really took the time to understand the tools. In addition, each year you re-attest to the ethical standards, so its automatically endorsing that," explained Kovarsky. "Last but not least, you're part of the community. You're not [going to go] stale. We do encourage people to undertake their continuous professional development to stay on top of the industry.
