I am of the opinion that notwithstanding the strong rise in the gold price we have not hit gold fever yet. The fever phase is typically characterized by every man and his dog participating in the bull market. However, my impression is that at this stage the general public is only involved in the bullion market in a small way. As a matter of fact, the masses are quite clueless regarding gold, as shown so clearly in the video clip below.
